Progress Report

July 5, 2011 § 3 Comments

Today I was hoping to be 100% finished with the drawing for the second vestibule. I am about 75%. I had a very good monthly review…….a progress report with people from Septa Transit Authority.  As I already mentioned the floors are scheduled to be installed September 9th.

This image is detail taken from a drawing of one entire vestibule floor at 1/4 scale. I will continue presenting cropped sections from all of the drawings.  Today as I was working, I thought there was a bit of  distant relationship to some of David Hockney ‘s landscape paintings.  Mentioning this really dates me; however, I also think there is some relationship to Lynda Benglis’s  wax floor paintings that were recently on exhibit at the New Museum.
